Monthly parking and storage

Storage is booked by the month

Storage listings (garage storage, basements, spare rooms, business storage and warehouse bays) are rented by the month.

1. On the search page, select the Storage tab, or browse by size at parkeas.com/storage.
2. Pick a Move-in date and search.
3. On the listing, choose the Date, Start Time and number of Months: 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24.
4. If the listing has more than one unit, choose one under Select Spot.
5. Select Continue to payment. You pay for the whole booking at once.

How storage is priced

The price is the monthly rate multiplied by the number of months. Parkeas counts a month as 30 days, so a 3-month booking ends 90 days after it starts, at the same time of day. The service fee (5% of the price plus $0.40) and 13% HST are added on top.

Example: $120 a month for 3 months is $360.00. The service fee is $18.40 and HST is $49.19, for a total of $427.59.

Before you store

• Check Fits on the listing for the largest item size.
• Remove everything by your end date.
• Never store fuel, propane or solvents, anything living, firearms or ammunition, explosives, illegal goods, or hazardous or toxic materials. Cash, jewellery and documents aren't covered at any value.

Cancelling storage

The listing's cancellation policy counts back from your move-in date and time. Once the booking has started, cancelling doesn't refund the remaining months, so check the policy before booking a long stay. See Cancel a booking and get a refund.

Regular parking

Parking is booked by the hour: from 1 hour up to All day (24 hours) per booking, up to 30 days ahead. If you park at the same place often, make it a recurring booking:

1. On the parking listing, set the date, start time and length of the first session.
2. Select Promo code, wallet, repeat and tick Recurring booking.
3. Choose Daily or Weekly, and the number of sessions (2 to 12).
4. Check Charge today, then select Continue to payment. You pay for every session in one payment.

The Monthly Parking page

The Monthly Parking page (parkeas.com/monthly-parking) lists spaces whose hosts have set a monthly rate. When you book, parking is still priced by the hour as above, so always check the total on the booking card before you pay.
