What is Parkeas?
Parkeas is an online marketplace for parking and storage. Local people and businesses list spaces they aren't using, such as driveways, garages, parking lot spots and spare rooms, and you book and pay for them on parkeas.com.
Guests and hosts
- Guests (drivers) search for a space, book it for the time they need and pay by card. After booking, they get the host's access instructions and a PIN for the space.
- Hosts list a space, set the price and rules, and get paid weekly.
One Parkeas account does both. You can book parking as a guest and turn on hosting from the same account whenever you're ready. See Switch between guest and host.
What you can book
- Parking: driveways, garages, parking lots and underground spots, booked by the hour, from 1 hour up to a full day.
- Storage: garage storage, basements, spare rooms, business storage and warehouse bays, booked by the month.
- Event and outdoor spaces: some hosts list backyards, halls and other venues, booked by the day. You'll find them under the Events tab on the search page.
Where Parkeas works
Parkeas is live in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, Ontario (KWC). Listings outside these three cities can't be booked yet. On those you'll see Not bookable yet. If you search for another city, Parkeas tells you it isn't there yet and suggests KWC cities instead.
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Every booking includes a guest service fee and Ontario HST, and you see the full total before you pay. See Guest fees and taxes.

How a booking works
- Enter where you're going and when, then pick a space from the results.
- Choose your date, start time and how long you need.
- Pay securely through Stripe. Most spaces confirm instantly. Some ask the host to accept your request first.
- Use the access instructions and PIN in your booking to get in, and check out when you leave.
Languages
Parkeas is available in English and French. Use the language button at the top of the page, or open the menu on a phone. See Notifications and language.
