Delete your account

Deleting your account is permanent after a 30-day recovery window. If you only want fewer emails, change your notification settings instead. See Notifications and language.

Before you start

Finish or cancel your bookings. An account isn't deleted while it has an upcoming or active booking, a request waiting for a host, or a refund still being processed.
Resolve open disputes. Disputes must be closed first.
Use your wallet credit. An account isn't deleted while it still has wallet credit. Spend it on a booking, or contact support. See Contact support.
Download your data. Go to Privacy in your Account Settings and select Export my data to get a copy of your profile, bookings, vehicles, wallet and reviews.

If you host, your listings are switched off when your account is deleted. Bookings at your listings must be finished first.

Request deletion

Open your account menu and select Profile.
In the Account Settings menu, select Delete account. You can also use Delete my account under Danger zone at the bottom of your profile.
Optionally, tell us why you're leaving under Reason (optional).
Type DELETE in the box.
Select Request account deletion.

You're signed out straight away. Your account is permanently removed 30 days after the request.

Changed your mind?

Sign back in within 30 days. Your deletion request is cancelled automatically, and you'll see "Welcome back — your account deletion request has been cancelled."

After 30 days

Your account is deleted and can't be recovered. That includes your profile, vehicles and notifications.

Some records may be kept where the law requires it or where they're needed for things like transaction records, tax, fraud prevention, safety or legal claims. A host's record of a past booking at their space isn't removed. See the Parkeas Privacy Policy for details.

If something is still blocking deletion after 30 days, such as an open booking or wallet credit, your account stays in place until it's cleared. Contact support if you're not sure what's holding it up.
