Payment methods and receipts

How you pay

Every booking is paid through Stripe's secure checkout. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. Apple Pay and Google Pay appear automatically at checkout on supported devices, with nothing to set up.

Card details are stored by Stripe, never on Parkeas servers. Prices are in Canadian dollars.

Manage your cards

In your dashboard, select Wallet, then the Payment Methods tab.

Add card: opens Stripe's secure form. When it's saved, you'll see "Card added securely".
Set as default: makes a card your default.
Edit card (pencil icon): change the cardholder name or expiry date. To change the card number, remove the card and add the new one.
Remove card (bin icon): deletes a saved card.

If a saved card is about to expire, your dashboard overview shows a reminder with an Update card button.

Wallet credit

Your Parkeas wallet holds credit from refunds, gift cards, referral rewards and promotions. You'll see the balance under Parkeas credit on Wallet. Credit never expires.

Credit isn't used automatically. On the booking card, select Promo code, wallet, repeat and tick Apply wallet credit. This option only appears when you have credit. Credit can cover all but $0.50 of a booking, and the rest is charged to your card.

On the booking card, select Promo code, wallet, repeat, enter it under Promo code and select Apply. The discount comes off the space price before the service fee and HST are added. On a recurring booking, it applies to the first session only.

Gift cards

Got a Parkeas gift card? Go to Wallet, open the Gift Cards tab, enter the code under Redeem a gift card and select Redeem. The amount is added to your wallet straight away. You can't redeem a gift card you bought yourself.

Find your receipts

Your email: every Booking confirmed email includes your receipt.
Receipts in your dashboard (the History tab on Wallet): every charge, refund and credit since you joined.
A completed booking: open it and select Download Invoice.

On History you can:

Filter by Everything, Charges, Refunds or Other credit, search, or pick a date range with From and To.
See how each booking was paid under Paid with: Card on file, Card + credit, Credit balance or Gift card.
Select PDF next to a booking to download its receipt. It shows the address, the hours and the tax line.
Select Monthly statement to get one printable statement for the month, handy for expenses.
Select Export CSV to download the list as a spreadsheet.

A charge you don't recognize

Check History first, and compare the amount with your booking emails. Remember that extensions and overtime are charged separately from the original booking. If something still looks wrong, contact support with the date and amount. See Contact support.
