Profile and verification

Your profile

Open your account menu (your name or photo at the top of the page) and select Profile. Here you can:

• Change your photo: select your photo, then choose an image under 5 MB. Remove avatar deletes it.
• Full name: hosts see your first name and last initial.
• Phone: a 10-digit Canadian number. Hosts and guests use it to coordinate arrivals.

Select Save changes when you're done.

Your Email can't be changed on this page. To use a different address, contact support. See Contact support.

Verify your phone number

After you save a number, you may see Text me a code. Select it, enter the 6-digit code we text you and select Verify. If you see "Phone verification by text isn't available yet", you don't need to do anything: your number is saved and can still be used.

Guest verification

Before your first booking, Parkeas checks three documents. Once you've completed a booking, you can keep booking without doing this again.

1. In your dashboard, select Verification.
2. Upload each document:
   • Driving licence
   • Vehicle registration
   • Vehicle insurance
3. Use a clear photo or scan: JPEG, PNG, WebP or PDF, up to 10 MB each.

The progress bar shows where you are: Account created, Documents submitted, Verification in progress and Verified. Our team usually checks documents within 24 hours, and we email you when it's done.

If a document needs attention

If you see Action required, one or more documents need to be uploaded again. The card shows the Reason. Select Upload new document on that card. Documents that are already Approved stay approved.

When everything is approved, you'll see You're verified, and you can book.

Identity verification for hosts

To publish a listing, hosts also verify their identity with a photo ID and a selfie. Guests don't need this to book.

1. Go to Profile and find Identity verification.
2. Under Document type, choose Licence / Photo ID or Passport.
3. Upload ID front, ID back (not needed for a passport) and a Selfie.

Accepted documents:

• Provincial driver's licence (front and back)
• Canadian passport (photo page, uploaded as ID front)
• Provincial photo ID card or Enhanced ID (front and back)

Photos must be JPEG, PNG or WebP, under 5 MB each, clear and unedited, with all four corners visible and an expiry date in the future. Your selfie must match the photo on your ID.

Your status shows Pending review while we check, then Verified. If you see Verification rejected, read the reason, then upload new photos.

Your documents are private

Only you and authorized Parkeas staff can see your verification documents. Hosts never see them.
