Your booking runs from its start time to its end time whether or not you've arrived. Arriving late doesn't move the end time.
On your booking page, select Get Directions, or use the Google Maps or Apple Maps link in the arrival card. If you allow location access, the card shows how far away you are. Read the host's Parking instructions before you leave.
How you check in depends on the host's setup. Your booking page shows what to do.
This works from your start time until 15 minutes after your end time. After 5 wrong PINs it's locked for 15 minutes. If you see You're not close enough or Location accuracy too low, move closer to the entrance, turn on precise location and select Try Again.
Some hosts post a Parkeas check-in QR code at the space. Scan it with your phone's camera to open Parkeas, and sign in if asked. Select Check In, enter your 6-digit guest PIN, select Continue and allow location access. You'll see You're checked in. This works from 30 minutes before your start time until 60 minutes after it.
Select Check In (Upload Photo) on your booking page and take a photo of your vehicle with the plate visible. The button opens 30 minutes before your start time. If you chose a vehicle when booking, Parkeas reads the plate. A mismatch is reported to the host. If you used another car or the photo was unclear, explain in the License plate mismatch detected notice and select Mark resolved.
While your booking is active, select Extend Booking, choose 1, 2 or 4 more hours (the price includes the service fee and HST) and select Confirm Extension to pay. You can't extend if someone has booked the spot right after you.
When you leave, select Check Out (Upload Photo) on your booking page, or scan the host's check-in QR again and choose Check Out.
Check out by your end time. If you're still checked in 15 minutes after it, the booking closes automatically and overtime is charged: 1.5 times the hourly rate for each started hour after your end time, plus HST. It's taken from your wallet credit if that covers it all. Otherwise, Outstanding overtime charge appears on your booking with a button to pay it. New bookings may be blocked until it's paid.
