Set up payouts with Stripe

Parkeas pays hosts through Stripe Connect. You connect your bank account on Stripe's own secure pages, so Parkeas never sees or stores your bank details.

You can set this up before or after your first booking. Nothing is lost while you wait: everything you've earned is released on your first payout.

Connect your bank account

Go to Payouts in the host menu. You can also find it in your account menu under Hosting.
Select Connect a bank account.
You're taken to Stripe. Follow Stripe's steps to the end.
When you're done, Stripe sends you back to your Payouts page.

What Stripe asks for

Stripe decides what it needs to verify you, and it may ask for more later. Typically, this includes:

your email address and mobile number, with a code to confirm them
whether you're an individual or a business
your legal name, date of birth and home address
tax or identity details, such as your Social Insurance Number or business number
your bank account details: institution, transit and account numbers

Stripe may also ask you to upload a photo of your ID.

What the Payouts page shows

Payouts on hold with Connect a bank account to get paid — you haven't connected a bank yet. If you already have earnings, the heading shows how much is waiting.
Finish setting up your Stripe account — you started with Stripe, but it still needs some details. Select Finish Stripe setup to continue where you left off.
Paid weekly, every Monday, via your connected Stripe account — you're all set. The Destination box shows Connected via Stripe.
A payout of $X could not be completed — this can happen if your bank details are out of date. Select Contact support and the team will help.

Troubleshooting

"Could not start Stripe Connect onboarding" — try again in a few minutes. If it keeps happening, contact Parkeas Support at support.parkeas.com.
"Bank connections aren't open yet…" — this is on Parkeas's side. Your earnings are safe and keep adding up. Try again in a day or two.
Your bank details have changed — there's no button in Parkeas to change them once you're connected. Contact Parkeas Support for help.
